Bizumic explores the exchange between analog (print-capitalism) and digital (photo-capitalism) in the production, distribution, and reception of images. Working at the intersection of contemporary art and cultural studies–Bizumic makes exhibitions and writes essays–showing how art relates to the broader political, social, and economic values. His exhibition projects focus on diverse topics such as neglected histories, technological innovation, machine vision, decolonisation, photographic industry, intercultural translation, incompleteness, ideological failures, and last, but not least – possible future scenarios.
