Tique Salon #3: La Houle, Ronan Le Creurer and Elvis Bonier

For the third edition of Tique Salon we are inviting La Houle and Elvis Bonier.

La Houle, founded in Brussels by Marie Lécrivain & Jean-François Caro in 2012, is an association aiming at relaying artistic, literary and editorial practices. Through the spaces of publication, exhibition and diffusion, its projects evolve and adapt over time, in the course of encounters and formats.

Marie & Jean-François will present their recent, ongoing or future project with La Houle and they invited Ronan Le Creurer to Tique Salon #3.

Ronan Le Creurer graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts d’Angers in 2012. He then joined a one-year research and cooperative program at ESACM in Clermont-Ferrand, and was an artist in residence at the Centre d’art contemporain de la synagogue de Delme in 2015. He recently founded L’Agence, an exhibition space in Paris. While his practice is linked to sculpture and its mode of working, it matters not to remove or add matter to a form created ex nihilo. As a sculptor with a polymorphous practice, his approach is close to that of the collector who composes and arranges objects according to a variety of formal, materiological, or narrative principles. His pieces originate from a formal repository of found objects and images that may come from wunderkammern, Persian gardens, or souvenir shops.

Ronan will be presenting a recent project carried out in Stanwell Park beach (Australia), as well as a selection of images related to modern painting and architecture and flying vehicles.

Elvis Bonier will present his new publication Fontana; a collection of images made with the use of the Healing Brush.

All presentations will be in English.
