How do you describe your own art practice?

A mixture of tradition and new technology.

Which question or theme is central in your work?

Rhythmic organization of masses / people / goods / production.

What was your first experience with art?

In my parents’ house, my father was a painter and lived in Paris in the late 1920s and had a studio together with Derain. Throughout his life he has painted essentially still life, apples, pears.

What is your greatest source of inspiration?

This was long jazz music – but also organic and technical patterns.

What do you need in order to create your work?

Alternating excitement and calm = meditation.

What work or artist has most recently surprised you?

Non fungible tokens – as an experimental field where art and mathematics meet.
