How do you describe your own art practice?
I treat photography like play fun, I have a completely childish approach to work. Sometimes I am trying to plan what to photograph and set it up, But I am just waiting when something will fall down and destroy. I love mistakes, unpredictable results. I don’t want to think is something have a sense, I prefer to start doing it, and later decide.
Which question or theme is central in your work?
I am interested in the themes that are around me. When I don’t understand something or I am just curious, I try to get into it and learn about it more through photography. So for now, I was mostly focused on the education system in Poland and the relationship between siblings.
But I love amusement parks, carousels, glitter, waffles, chocolate, and kitsch. This is what I always want to include in my work.
What was your first experience with art?
It was a beautiful sunny day during summer Holiday, my uncle had come back from university for a break at home and he took a computer. He said to me that I can use it! He said that you need to write in google world GIF and you will see magic. oh, good Good it was a miracle, plenty of moving images with glitter appeared in front of my eye! I wanted to have them all! That whole day I had spent watching them ..
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
tv shows, walking to the shops.
What do you need in order to create your work?
chips + pepsi/coca cola.
What work or artist has most recently surprised you?
I think my granddad is the greatest artist in the whole world, he knows how to do everything! and he is shocking me with his new inventions! but I think my whole family is not normal. Recently I found photos from my childhood, it was a great time!
I remember when my mother always wears me in pink and all my friends look the same, Kitch everywhere! The wedding party style was incredible! what they are wearing, haha it was crazy!
