How do you describe your own art practice?

Chaotic, with an invisible iron ribbon connecting everything. Often extra large.

Which question or theme is central in your work?

Zeitgeist questions with epic resolutions. Or the other way around.

What was your first experience with art?

The Inverted Collar and Tie by Claes Oldenburg in Frankfurt. I was 5 and just emigrated to Germany from Poland.

What is your greatest source of inspiration?

Revolutions.

What do you need in order to create your work?

Dense places, the news, my miseries and invitations to show work.

What work or artist has most recently surprised you?

Jeff Koons’ gift to France, it’s so delusional
