The exhibition, Is it a Painting? (Or is it a Sculpture? Or a Photo?), opening on 15 October at Tique | Art Space, looks at the development of the photographic image as a starting point for two-dimensional works of art in diverse materials, as well as sculptures and installations.

‘It is an interesting image. But what is it? A painting or a photograph?’ This is a question often heard at Tique. It is a question that concerns our expectations about the appearance of the medium, fueled by the integration of photography in our daily lives.

The exhibition includes works by Ruth van Beek, Celine van den Boorn, Timo van Grinsven, Manor Grunewald, Lore Horré and Dries Segers.
