Johan Nieuwenhuize

Assigned by NTjong and Het Nationale Theater, Johan Nieuwenhuize creates a new audio visual installation work. For this installation, his largest work so far, he made photographs and sound recordings in three places of worship in The Hague, The Netherlands; a church, a temple and a synagogue.

Three theatre makers are working on plays on these same locations, using photographs from the series in the decor.

The installation of Nieuwenhuize will be on display June 8th, 10th and 11th in Theater aan het Spui, The Hague. A publication with pictures from the project will be issued. This book will be designed by photo book designer -SYB-. www.hnt.nl
